After completion of the course, students can work as a network engineer in the areas of administering network security, installing network hardware and software, project management and integration and assists in the mangement of the implementation of LANs, WANs, etc.

Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent / 3 Years diploma from state board for technical education. 



We find computer networks in large businesses and small ones, schools and charitable, institutions, governments and private organizations. In today's world, it is important to know what networks are and how to make the most of them. The course enables the students to peruse a career in computer hardware and networking. The course is designed to equip the candidates with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques of LANs, VLANs, WANs, VPNs, ATMs, etc., and to handle almost all issues related to hardware such as installing, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, etc. The syllabus will be comprehensive, relevant and practical oriented. After successful completion of the first semester, if a students wishes to discontinued the course, he/she shall be awarded the Diploma in Hardware and Networking.

Objective: The course aims at realizing the following objectives. Students will be able to:

1 Implement, manage and support network information systems.

2 Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot servers.

3 Understand Microsoft Windows operating systems and ensure proper management of the network operating system.

4 Install, configure and upgrade server applications.

5 Ensure security and integrity of local networks.

6 Implements and maintain internet, intranet and extranet networks. Manage websites and provide adequate and efficient links between units.

Min. Duration: 1 Year(2 Semester)
Max. Duration: 2 Years.

Minimum counselling and hands-on experience at learning centers: 320 hrs/semester.
