There is growing need for trained media professionals in all fields of journalism. This course is meant for candidates who aspire to make their career in mass communication and journalism. This course imparts a comprehensive training to young, aspiring journalists to meet the need in media industry, keeping pace with the recent development in all areas of mass media.
Objective: The course aims at realizing the following objectives: 1 To equip the students with basic skills journalists in various mass media. 2 To expose the students to recent developments in media issues and media research. 3 To impart the foundations for the various technologies involved in mass media like computer applications, respective software and hardware in print, radio, television, internet and the like. The course would enable the students to work in various
media like print, radio, television, internet, and in related fields. Students can start a full-fledged career
in journalism or venture into freelancing.
