OBJECTIVE
: To enable students who have completed the 10+2 or equivalent course to
pursue a career in computers. Syllabus is designed in keeping with the emerging
world of Information Technology and updated regularly keeping the latest trends.
ELIGIBILITY
: 10 + 2 or equivalent in any discipline / 3 years Diploma from a recognised technical
board.
UNIVERSITY FEES
: Rs. 11,100/- per semester inclusive of examination fees and alumni fees or as
revised from time to time.
UNIVERSITY CENTRE FEES
: Rs. 6,500/ per semester.
MINIMUM DURATION : 3 Years (6 Semesters)
MAXIMUM DURATION : 6 Years
Provision for Lateral Entry to Second Semester*
Eligibility:
(a) 10+2 or equivalent / 3 year Diploma from a State Board of Technical
Education and six month computer course from reputed institutions*.
Additional Fees
: In addition to the normal fees, an additional lateral entry fee of Rs. 5,175/- (for
lateral entry examination fees is included) is payable by students opting for
this scheme.
Note
:
In the lateral entry scheme only, a student has to appear & pass the 1st
Semester Examination. Books of first semester will be supplied by the University
and internal assessment will be completed at the Learning Centers.
Provision for Direct Entry to Third Semester*
Eligibility:
(a) 3 year Diploma in IT/CS from a State Board of Technical Education.
Additional Fees
: In addition to the normal fees, an additional direct entry fee of Rs. 5,175/- is
also payable by students.
In Direct Entry Scheme, students are exempted from appearing in Examinations for
all the previous Semesters.
